Half-time Insights: what 50 years, 3 businesses and a laundry epiphany offer a Solo-preneur
As a one-person show, you are often faced with the dilemma:
How to scale operations, grow business and create a positive impact in the world without burning health and well-being?
This question is at the center of Michelle Walker’s talk as she steps us through her reflections of switching careers, and developing and growing three successful consulting businesses (not all at the one time!) while also having a lively creative art practice and helping out on the farm. Michelle shares her pragmatic and insightful ideas aimed at helping solo business people avoid the pitfalls of limiting beliefs and thinking adopted from workplaces and the kitchen table.
Michelle runs an internationally-renowned and respected visual thinking company and has a flourishing life and business coaching practice – all from her farm in the hinterland of Byron Bay.
An author, trainer and retreat leader, Michelle regularly delivers talks and programs on creative thinking in business across Australia and overseas.
